My Weekend!
I know it's a little too late to blog about my weekend but I've been too busy with school lately. So I haven't gotten the chance to go online and blog about it. Well on Friday, I didn't feel like going anywhere once I got home because I wanted to stay and watch the Lakers game. I was hoping that they would win since they had the advantage of playing against a team that is missing one of their best players. They were missing their best 2 guard and he's out for the rest of the season. I was right--they ended up winning and that made my night. I gave up my plans just to watch the game but it was all worth it. However, Saturday was coming and I had many plans for that day and I knew I was going to have lots of fun. So my Saturday started off with a trip to UC Riverside. We got on this really nice bus and it was the best bus I have ever ridden in my life. The driver was really nice and he didn't get angry at me for taking too long to get on the bus. I felt really bad because I made him wait so long and it was my fault that I was late. After two hours of riding on the bus we finally arrived to the campus and it didn't look that nice. The neighborhood around the campus was so ghetto that it felt like living in the projects. Anyways, all we did was take a tour around the campus and the only thing I liked about the campus was the gym. But I'm pretty sure all of the other UCs would have a gym like that so it didn't matter how good the gym looks. After our tour, we went to this YogurtLand knockoff and bought ourselves some frozen yogurt. I would never go to that place again. I can go to YogurtLand and get the same amount of yogurt with better taste for a cheaper price. I highly suggest you guys to try out YogurtLand. So after a long ride back home, I went to my friend's house with a few of my friends to rest for a little while. At around 7, we went to this Thai restaurant and we ordered food to go. Thirty minutes later, we went to the Alhambra golf course to try out the sport. In my opinion, golf is the hardest sport ever. First of all, you need to know how position yourself so you can hit the ball well. Second of all, you need to learn how to control the ball and you need a lot of precision. Well that's enough for my Saturday. On Sunday, I just stayed home and clean because I haven't cleaned my room in a month. The Lakers game also forced me to stay home because I can never miss a Lakers game during the playoffs. To make things short, I didn't really do much on Sunday and Saturday was so much better. That's it for my weekend update. Enjoy reading =]
